Highland Park Michigan will have 125 new jobs created in conjunction with the Michigan Works! Association. The Valeo plant will create front-end modules for the 2011 Jeep Grand Cherokee. Valeo, which is headquartered in France, will have executives from France and their U.S. headquarters attending the grand opening. Governor Jennifer Granholm (D-MI) will help to celebrate the first manufacturing plant in Michigan by Valeo.
Great news for Highland Park, Detroit, and Michigan. Highland Park was the original headquarters for the Chrysler Corporation.
