The Detroit Black Expo III is this weekend June 5 - 7 2009
at the Marriott Renaissance Hotel
in Downtown Detroit!
It is one of the largest of its kind in the United States!

National Town Hall Meeting

The National Town Hall meeting is in conjunction with the Urban Financial Services Coalition 35th Annual National Conference. The National Town Hall meeting sets the stage for the entire conference featuring the brightest minds, intellectuals and leadership of the black business community. Hosted by the African American Business Alliance - this event raises the awareness and knowledge base of the black community to help encourage and inspire a movement towards economic empowerment throughout the State of Michigan
 
Michigan 100
Friday, June 5, 2009
The Michigan 100 will feature Michigan’s top 100 black-owned businesses. The event is in conjunction with First Fridays Detroit "the Premier Business Experience for Networking Professionals" the first Friday of each month. The event features more than 25 exhibitors and hundreds (1 OO’s) of networking professionals looking for additional resources and opportunities.

Youth ages 18-28 throughout metropolitan Detroit will have the opportunity to learn the fundamentals of leadership required for the 21st Century. Leadership NEXT helps develop, educate and challenge the next generation of leaders with core principles that will lead to eventual success.
 
Power Panels

The Power Panels are series industry specific discussions featuring influential panelist and keynote speakers. The Power Panels will be hosted for (1) day of business, motivational and leadership topics designed to empower emerging and established African American business owners. Professionals will share their knowledge and valuable resources on what it takes to start a new business and take your existing business to the next level. Panel discussions will take place ranging from legal, marketing and networking topics.
