Women of Color Film Festival

Are you looking for something beautiful, exciting, uplifting, informative, and empowering to do this weekend in the "D"?



The Second Annual Detroit Women of Color International Film Festival will have screenings and discussions on Friday and Saturday, July 11 and July 12. The Festival will be held at the Charles H. Wright Museum of African American History.




Each of the films is beautifully described here...and you will find the schedule for the two-day Festival here...

The generation-spanning videos and independent films explore several topics, including relationships, hip-hop, politics, sexuality, spirituality, and cultural traditions.

Tickets are available at the door: $15.00 for one day or $25.00 for both days.
The hours are: Friday, July 11 6:00 - 10:00 pm; Saturday July 12 12 noon - 10:00 pm
